Hello, I got tagged by Dana so I think I'd better do the right thing and come up with some interesting bits about me. Mind you, it's taken me days to come up with anything I find remotely entertaining but I'll do my best. Here goes.

1) I was once on "Art Linkletter's House Party" - I know this shows my age, but I was actually one of the kids that got to go on his show. He was a real sweetie and super nice, but the best part was I won a nine volume set of books!

2) Back in the sixties, I was a hippie - well, more or less. Again, showing my age but I don't care..that's one of the nice things about aging, you simply stop caring about a lot nonsense.

3) I once almost knocked over Rod Serling - but most of you already know that story.

4) My first published book was in German - that's right, the first book I over sold was to a book packager. I made the grand sum of $300.00 for that little number. But that's okay, it was the first book I ever wrote and no American publisher wanted it.

5) Years ago I hitchhiked in Europe. I wouldn't do it now - I'm too big a coward, but back when I was twenty one, I had more guts than brains.

6) I've always wanted to see a UFO but I've never even come close - and it's not for lack of trying, I've spent hours gazing at the heavens.

7) I'd love to write science fiction.

8) I once worked in a pool hall (when I was in college) but never, ever learned how to play pool.

9) I almost drowned when I was seven but my cousin, who was my mother's age, pulled me to safety.

10) I'm a huge fan of 1950's science fiction/horror movies. That's right, I've actually sat through "The Attack of the Giant Crab Monster" and "Invaders from Mars".

All the best,
Cheryl/Emily
